HOME Actor's Corner Terrian Dias
Terrian Dias

Biography:

Terrian is the latest recruit from the CentreStage Workshop, having graduated in 2006 after emerging as the best actress in that year’s batch of students.  A few months later she got a chance to ‘wet her feet’  on the commercial stage by appearing in  Jambiz International’s gospel musical, Amen Corner where she got a chance to  improve on her craft. Some of Terri’s attributes are her professionalism, her enthusiasm and her willingness to learn, and these are just a few of  the qualities that  impressed the producers and directors for Fire Flies Films  in 2007 who quickly cast her in two of their movies - 'Candy Shop' and 'Scoundrel'.

Later that year, although admittedly not ‘recording artiste material’ she was able to ‘ hold her own’ and appeared in her second  musical, the Eagles production Free at Last. Terriann admits that, for her, theatre is ‘... a joy, a passion’, something she hopes she will one day be able to do fulltime. Until then, she continues to explore all aspects of the craft. In this production of 'Diana', not only does she take on the challenging role of ‘Cher’ but she also assumes duties as assistant stage manager.
