31, 2006 ) World wide purveyors of the Oliver Farrin Cyaad (Oliver phone card) – People’s Telecom, has team up with producers Jambiz International to offer patrons attending performances of Patrick Brown’s new comedy ASSISTANT THEIF, a chance to win. Each night a lucky patron will win $500 worth of Oliver Farrin Cyaad. Then at the end of the run on October 16, 2006, all the entry coupons will be entered for a grand prize of an ALL-EXPENSE PAID TRIP FOR 2 TO FLORIDA, USA. The winner will receive 2 airline tickets, picked up in a stretch limosine at the airport, provided with hotel accommodation and given US$500 spending money. The lucky winner will be published in the Jamaica Observer on Friday October 20, 2006. In ASSISTANT THIEF a house is broken into by a man, only to find that another thief had already broken in a mere few minutes earlier. Pandemonium breaks loose as each insists on first right of refusal for the “spoils” of their labour. Written by Jamaica’s foremost comedic writer Patrick Brown, ASSISTANT THIEF stars the Caribbean King of comedy Oliver Samuels, alongside Glen “Titus” Campbell, Camille Davis and Christopher Hutchinson. It was directed by Trevor Nairne. The production which had its World Premier on Thursday July 27, plays at Centerstage Wednesdays to Fridays at 8pm and on Saturdays and Sundays at 5pm and 8pm.
